Michael F. Buffa

Michael F. "Mickey" Buffa, 65, passed away peacefully April 22, 2024 at Grace House. Born in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Loretta (Bonnell) Buffa, he was a lifelong area resident. Mickey enjoyed watching the Browns with his friend Mark, playing cards and having lunch with his sisters.

In addition to his parents, Mickey was preceded in death by his sister, Terri Haddox. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Gerri (Bill) Channell, Jo Buffa (Blake Sparks), Toni (John) Bucy, Gayle (Dave) Bird; brother-in-law, Rick Haddox; close friends, Marshell, Mark, and his nephew Craig; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Sunni, Shaun, Justin, LeAnne, Angie and Amanda from Summa Hospice as well as his aide, Sally for their loving care of Mickey. His late sister Terri and more recently Gerri were his loving family caregivers.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd.
