Michael Castelli, 86, went home to be with Jesus, his Lord, on February 7, 2024. He was born in Termini Imerese, Sicily, to Augustino and Charlene Castelli. At the age of 16, he arrived in the USA and settled in the Akron, Ohio, area where he lived the rest of his life. After working a few years as a cement finisher, he took a job with Firestone, from where he retired, working as a supervisor in both the treadmill and Banbury mixer areas. He enjoyed bowling for many years with friends at the Jednota Club, and was an avid coin collector. He also enjoyed many road-trip summer vacations with his family, visiting nearly all of the states over the years. Coming to know His Savior later in life, he became a faithful member of The Chapel in Green. Michael was preceded in death by his loving wife Rosemary of 56 years. He is survived by his children Larry, Michael (Terri) and Terese (Bill) Miller; his grandchildren Jacob (Chelsea) Miller, Leah Miller (fiancée Mark Ratcliff), Elise (Chad) Breznak and Joseph (Megan) Castelli; his great grandchild Jackson Miller; his sisters Lilla Wheeler and Francine (Denny) Orban; along with many loving family members and friends. Family and friends may visit at The Chapel in Green, 1800 Raber Rd., Uniontown, 44685, from 9:00 AM to noon on Saturday, February 10th followed by a celebration of Michael's life at noon, officiated by Pastor Mike Castelli.
