Michael Connolly, 85, passed away November 25, 2023 after a short illness. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on September 18, 1938. Raised on Akron's North Hill, he graduated from North High in 1956 and went on to the University of Akron and Purdue University, where he earned his Master's Degree to become a Structural Engineer. He was an avid golfer and scored 4 holes in one. He gained the nickname Coach for the life advice he always had for his friends. Mike was known for his love, care, sense of humor and respect for everyone.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Sandi of 31 years; sons Dean and David; step-children, William (Angela) Hallbrook, Lori (Pete) Brown; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother, Les Connolly.
