Michael D. Reed

Michael D. Reed, 65, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 at his home in Akron. He was born November 5, 1948 in Lewistown, PA. Mike loved driving all over the country as an over-the-road driver for Alsides. He loved riding his motorcycle, shooting pool and was an avid bowler and a diehard Steelers fan but his really special time was with his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his 'tomboy' daughter Tammy (Randy) Reed-Morrison, son Michael (Christina) Reed, son Jon-Michael (Cindy) Reed, grandchildren; H.D., Michael, Lisa, Courtney, Andrea, Lil Jon, Michael Casey, Nathan, Shyan, Kenndal, Skylar, Timothy and one on the way, great-granddaughter Serenity, honorary children; Paul and Jenny, Donald and Billy, good friends Alex and Linda White. He was preceded in death by his father Hobart Reed and honorary brother Keith Wesie.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at LifeSpring Christian Church, 1828 Marigold Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44301.
