Michael (Mikal) Anthony Davis
Michael (Mikal) Anthony Davis, 26, went home to walk with God on March 6, 2008. A 1999 graduate of Springfield High School, he was employed at guitar center, where he was around what was his second love, music. God being his first. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Debi and Steve Hennacy; dad Robert Thompson; brother Chris (Amy) Thompson; sister Casey (Mike) McLaughlin; sister Stevie Hennacy; nephew Skylor; nieces Mandie and Brooklynn; and many grandparents, aunts, uncles, extended family, and special friend Krystal. He put God first in all aspects of his life and his faith was unbreakable. He will be greatly missed. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 3-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with a funeral service at 7 p.m., Pastor Russ Dizdar officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
