Michael J. Ginther

Michael J. Ginther, 73, passed away peacefully at home December 10, 2024 with family by his side. Born in Fullerton, CA to John and Bertha (McCarty) Ginther, he resided in Stark County, Ohio most of his adult life. Mike was known for helping anyone he crossed paths with and he loved putting smiles on children's faces by playing Santa Claus during the holiday season. He also enjoyed cookouts, woodworking, vintage cars and spending time with his family and friends.

Mike will be sadly missed by his wife and soulmate of 41 years, Linda; children, Karl (Kristen) Blaurock, Rachel (Jim) Smith, Rachel Ginther, Alex Ginther, Nickolas Ginther, Tammy Magrell, Robert (Jackie) Magrell, Robin (Bruce) Steiner; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; sisters, Michele (Roger) Cope, Kathy Ginther; best friends, Jim and Sharon Bates.

Per Mike's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. Anyone who wishes to honor Mike may consider making a donation to the Salvation Army of Massillon because they provide coats, hats and gloves to kids.
