Michael Paul Grayshock, 71, of Akron, passed away on March 27, 2021 at his home. Mick was born in Akron on July 9, 1949 to the late Emil and Stella Grayshock. He graduated from Green High School and proudly served two years in the U.S. Army. After dutifully serving his country, he became a weld inspector, retiring from Motor Wheels following a career that spanned over twenty years.
Mick had many interests, including visiting the gun range, fishing, cooking, traveling, playing pool, the Hibernian Club, and taking care of his yard. His greatest joy was being a grandfather to his three grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mick was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Mark Grayshock; and sister, Diane Clemons. He will be dearly missed by his children, Tammy (Gerard) Partoens and Troy Grayshock (Stacey Pernell) and their mother, Janet Davis; grandchildren, Quinten Partoens, Alayna Grayshock, and Jaidyn Grayshock; many extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Clark Wood officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Please plan on wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
