Michael Andrew Hlivko, age 67 of Akron, Ohio, died on August 21, 2021 at his home.
He was born on October 13, 1953 in Akron, the son of the late Michael and Evelyn (nee Zofchak) Hlivko.
Michael graduate from Ellet High School and attended Akron University as a Psychology major.
Mike loved reading and the Cleveland Indians. His home was "prime real estate" for the Fourth of July, he always had a big party for the fireworks. He was a very sarcastic and humorous person and kept people entertained.
Survivors include his life partner, Kathy R. Jenkins; his children, Miles (Melissa Smith) Hlivko and Marlena (Sean) McCracken; Kathy's daughter, Stephanie (David) Blanche; and Kathy' granddaughter, Rayvn Blanche; his siblings, Marina (Sonny) Reese, Margaret (Randy) Graham, Mark (Sherry) Hlivko and Mathew (Kim) Hlivko; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Lee (nee McMillon) Hlivko.
Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio.
