Michael Lee Knox, 32, of Suffield Twp., passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2016 of natural causes. He loved being outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and hiking. He was also an avid music lover, and those who would travel with him would hear anything from Garth Brooks to MushroomHead. Michael was a graduate of Field High School, and he was a shift supervisor at Blair Rubber Co. He was a hands-on dad who loved spending time with his family and taking trips to zoos and aquariums.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marjorie and Leonard Boden; aunt, Little Margie; both maternal and paternal great-grandparents; and his beloved dog, Rocky.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Michelle; son, Michael, Jr.; daughter, Madison; son, Andrew Restor; mother, Linda Boden; father, William (Julie) Knox; sister, Crystal (Sian) Guldeman; nephew, Austyn Taylor Guldeman; step-brothers, Denny (Katie), and Matthew Culbert; grandparents, Earl and Roberta Knox; aunts, Lorrie (Russ) Beavers, and Terri (Dean) Burner; cousin and best-brother, Brian Bower, and his son Easton; cousins, Brandon Beavers, Gary and Glenn Burner; father-in-law (fishing buddy), Jim Memmer; mother and father-in-law, Christine (James) Cooper; sister-in-law, Sandra (Michael) Slusser; niece, Jordan; nephew, Rylan; sister-in-law, Patti Memmer; and nieces, Makayla, and EmmaMae and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm, with a time to share memories beginning at noon on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
