On Sunday, August 1, 2021 Michael DeVonte' Mason, loving son and brother, passed away at the age of 27. Michael was born April 11, 1994 in Akron, OH. He attended Buchtel High School. Michael was a smart, energetic young man who loved to travel and have fun. He was known for his infectious smile, laughter, and generous personality.
He is preceded in death by his father Rodney Bonner. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Margie Mason, his brother Rayshawn Bonner, his sisters TaNesha Washington, Heather Scott, and Toni Morton, along with a large family of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. And special friend Shanice Atkins.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron 44305. Condolences and flowers may be sent to Newcomer Funeral Home.
