Michael Mikuliak

Michael Mikuliak passed away October 22, 2008. He was a wonderful father with a joyful, mischievous and caring spirit. His nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren adored him. He was an avid euchre player, fisherman and sports fan. Michael was a member of the Airport VFW 8975, the Moose Club, Army and Navy Club 102, Eagles 555 and many other organizations. He retired from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 1986 with 40 years of service. Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Mary. He is survived by his daughters Ramona Graham (Gerry) of Raleigh, NC and Onnolee Donaldson (Jim) of Green, OH; grandchildren Scott Graham, Melissa Graham Erwin (Jack), Elizabeth Graham, Andrea McClure (Matt) and Melissa Burris (Luke); great-grandchildren Chase Graham, Ryan McClure and Draven Burris; and loving companion Nancy Boyles and her family Linda, Angela and Nancy. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron with Pastor Joseph Serbin officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins. The family would like to express their appreciation to the care and dedication of the staff at Greater Akron Dialysis Center, City Hospital's CCU and Palliative Care departments and Drs. Bauman and Hajnosz. Their efforts made Michael's last days peaceful as he made the final journey to meet The Lord.
