Michael Joseph Perfect, age 65 of Akron, Ohio, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at 8:35 AM at his home.
He was born on December 29, 1950, in Akron the son of the late Hal and Mary Agnes Heffernan Perfect.
Michael loved spending time with his family and friends, and had special affection for his dog, Gidget. Some of his favorite pastimes included cooking, traveling, watching movies, and reminiscing. Michael was the family archivist with a remarkable memory for details. Mike was a gentle soul with a great sense of humor, sensitivity, compassion and empathy for others.
Survivors left to mourn his loss include his son, Cory Michael (Kim) Perfect of Medina; his grandchildren, Kendall and Kayla; his siblings, Kathy (Robert) Prexta of Uniontown, William (Kathy) Perfect of Kent, Mary Elizabeth Perfect of Akron; his aunt, Lois Heffernan of New Franklin, and other close relatives and friends.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Akron on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM where family and friends may gather one hour prior to the Mass.
