Michael Protich
Michael Protich, 95, passed away September 3, 2012. He was born in Akron on August 14, 1917 to the late Michael and Elizabeth Protich. Michael was retired from the Teamsters Local #24 and a member of St. Archangel Michael Orthodox Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl; son, Michael; three brothers and three sisters. He will deeply missed by his children, Patricia (Ronald) Russell, Lincoln (Patricia) Protich, Kristine (James) Hornacek; grandchildren, Rebecca "Becky", Renee, Tom, Jim, Jeff, Jason, and Evie; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Adam, Alexis, Paige, Elijah, Alex, Michael, Victoria, David, and Eli; and great-great-grandchild, Andraia.
Visitation will be TODAY from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Michael's family wishes to thank the staffs at Hospice of VNS and Pebble Creek for all their care.
