Michael R. Mise, Sr.
April 20, 1943 — February 15, 2014
Michael R. Mise, Sr., 70, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014 following a prolonged illness. He was born on April 20, 1943 in Akron, Ohio to the late William Mise and Katheryne Stefek. Michael served his country in the U.S. Navy. He loved collecting antiques, woodworking and rescuing animals.
Michael is survived by his wife Rebecca Haymaker-Mise, sons Michael R. (Cynthia) Mise, Jr. and David (Cathy) Mise, Sr., sister Marilyn Moore, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call 5-7 pm on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any animal charity of donor's choice.
