Michael Reno Ramsey, age 64 of Akron, Ohio, died on May 17, 2022 at Summa Akron City Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 4, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Billy and Audrey (nee Mitchell) Ramsey.
Michael loved his family and friends. He was the Cleveland Browns #1 fan. He enjoyed planting and eating hot peppers and fishing for crappie. He was known as the grill master with ribs as his specialty. Michael was a one heck of a landscaper, he was a jack of all trades and could fix almost anything.
Survivors include his daughter, Sarae Moon; his grandchildren, Michael Ramsey and Skyler Ramsey; his great-granddaughter, Kaori Mai Ramsey; his fiance, Nancy Fernandez; his step-children, Robert (Brad Johnson) Ferguson and Kimberly (TJ Charles) Fulks; his step-grandchildren, Kayla, CC, Briana, Cam, Colbie and Braxton.
His siblings also survives, Linda Mitchell and Reginald "Red" Ramsey; and nieces and nephews, Dominique (Jamille) Smith, Richard "BooBoo" (Kat) Hart, Damon Hart, Regina Ramsey and Marcus Ramsey; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends that mourn Michael's loss.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. Military services will take place at 1:00 PM.
