Michael Robert Reed, 64, of Tallmadge, passed away on October 1, 2021. He was born in Akron on September 3, 1957 to the late Robert and Rita Reed. Mike was a hard worker his whole life and had several different careers. He was a talented musician and loved to sing and play the guitar. He also enjoyed repairing clocks and spending time with his beloved dog, Traci.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Bever and brother-in-law, Robert Ross. He will be dearly missed by his fiancee, Kay Hopkins; siblings, Barbara (Dave) Bloom, Nancy Ross, Carol Armstrong, Steven Reed, and Susan (Richard Schoonover) Smith; brother-in-law, Rick Bever; and many nieces and nephews. Mike is also survived by his three sons and one grandchild.
Per Mike's wishes, cremation will take place and no formal services will be held.
