Michael Sarnescky, "Mike", age 67 of Akron, Ohio, died on March 22, 2019 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born on July 7, 1951 in Pennsylvania, the son of the late Frank J. and Mildred (nee Abrams) Sarnescky.
Michael was a dedicated worker and retiree of Ken-Tool after 45 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, watching his shows-The Price Is Right, Let's Make A Deal, and Little House On The Prairie. Mike was great at playing horseshoes, relaxing with a cold one, and scratching his tickets.
He was a great provider and husband. He absolutely adored and cherished his loving wife, Sheri Lynn; his children, Bobby Jo, Michelle, Michael, Gina, Billy, and River; his several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His siblings, Frank "Nicky" (Donna), William "Bill" (Judy), Thomas "Tom", and Paul "Pauly" Sarnescky, Barbara Jean (Jerry) Wagner, Sandra "Sandy" Thomas, and Diana Bolyard.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, where family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
