Michael Bentley Sills, "Sy Grey", age 27 of Akron, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2021 at his home.
He was born on September 29, 1993 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of the late Monique Sills.
Sy Grey graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 2012. He enjoyed being a handyman, jack of all trades, loved to play the guitar, which he outrageously excelled, and was a fantastic artist.
Survivors include his mother, Kerry Ann Sills, with whom he lived; his siblings, Anthony McClellan and Jasmin Coleman; his loving grandmother, Barbara Ann Jones; his aunts and uncles, Stephanie Irene Sills, Nancy Forshey, Steven (Dee) Sills, Bill (Debbie) Baird and Brian Neiferd.
His cousins also survive, Jamil Sills, Steven Dantzler, Shamai Sills, Dominique Gordon, Sierra Gordon, Don Gordon Jr, and a host of relatives and friends.
Other than Monique, those that preceded him in death were his father, James William Sills, his aunt and uncles, Laura Cyphert, David Walker and Gregory Sills

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
The funeral service on Wednesday will be private, and following Wednesday's service, Michael will be cremated.
