Michael L. Skibiski

Michael L. Skibiski, 74, of Ravenna, passed away at his home, surrounded by family on November 23, 2023. He was born on October 2, 1949 to the late Edward P. and Beulah {Evans} Skibiski.

On February 21, 1975 he married Ruth {Hereford} Skibiski. She survives, along with their daughter, Julia Skibiski; son, Steven (Sarah) Skibiski; grandchildren Shawna Skibiski, Isaac Worthy Jr., Olivia Skibiski, Ophelia Skibiski, Oasis Skibiski, McKayla Jackson and Donte Brooks; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings Edward "Sonny" Skibiski, Ronald Skibiski, Patricia Hill; special niece Alicia Castillo; extended family members and friends.

Mike graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1968. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and was honorably discharged in 1971 after his service in Vietnam.

Mike had several hobbies, including coin collecting, playing golf, hunting fishing and attending auctions. His time was never better spent, though, than when he was with his family, especially the grands and greats!

Akron, OH 44305 on Saturday, December 2nd from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 4:00 p.m. with well-deserved military honors.
