After a courageous seven year battle with cancer, Mike Terranova passed peacefully in his home on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the age of 57.
Mike was born on March 17, 1966 in Akron. He graduated from Lake High School in 1983 and was a dedicated sales manager in the furniture business for over 30 years. Mike was a strong man with a big heart and a great sense of humor. He loved riding his motorcycle, going to concerts, and having breakfast with his friends. However, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his beloved family.
Mike will be greatly missed by his loving wife and soulmate of 30 years, Bobbi; his daughters, Jill and Olivia; his son-in-law, James; his parents, Michael and Faye; his sisters, Janet (Dave), Callie (Terry), and Lori (Kenny); his sister-in-law, Robin (Vern), his brother-in-law, Jim (Kristy) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be especially missed by his soon-to-arrive granddaughter, Gwen, due in May.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305, on Palm Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM and 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
There will be a Private Mass celebrated on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
A Celebration of Life will be held this summer, place and time to be determined.
