Michael Scott Treesh, age 42, passed away Friday, October 5th, 2018, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near his home in Grand Junction, Colorado.
He was born November 24th, 1975 in Akron, Ohio the son of Wil and Bonnie Treesh. Mike was raised in Cuyahoga Falls but has lived in Colorado for the past thirteen years. He loved the landscape and people of western Colorado and truly considered it home. Mike enjoyed elk hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Treesh; grandparents, Wilton and Nina Treesh and Albert and Audrey Arnold. Mike will be deeply missed by his father, Wil Treesh; best friend, Justin "Monkey" Walkly and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 from 5-7:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service with Rev. Gary Smith officiating at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron (330-784-3334).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Rose Hill Hospitality House, 605 26 1/2 Rd, Grand Junction, CO 81506 in Michael's memory.
