Michael Kenneth Winkler

Michael K. Winkler, age 40 of Akron passed away suddenly from a brain aneurysm on Thursday, June 3, 2021.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Winkler, his maternal grandparents Gene (Jeanette) Laney, great-grandma Genevieve Nestor, many aunts, uncles and dear friends.

Mike is survived by his mother Pam {Laney} Winkler; sisters Melissa (Jason) Sapper and Marcia Winkler; nephew Jayden Sapper; nieces Kylie Rawlings and Kenzie Winkler; uncle Rick (Joyce) Laney; aunt Judy (Jeff) Doane; cousins Brad and Christopher Doane, Sarah (Joe) Martin, Rickey Laney; many extended family; many friends that he loved like family, and that loved him, too.

Mike was a server for many years at Longhorn Steakhouse in Fairlawn, and was loved by his regulars. He had an infectious smile, and was a friend to everyone.
