Michael Richard Yerkey

Michael Yerkey, 47, of Mogadore, went to be with the LORD on February 9, 2024. He was born on April 14, 1976 to Robert and Doris (Timberlake) Yerkey. Michael graduated from Field High School in 1995 and from Norwich University in 1999 of Northfield, VT. where he received his bachelor's degree. He served in the U.S. Army until 2003. He was a part of the Border Patrol for a while. Michael enjoyed writing and crafting words. His passions were history, politics, religion and chess.
Michael is survived by his parents; brothers Bobby (Laura) Yerkey, and Jason (Sandra) Yerkey; nephews Cade, and Luka; and niece Isabelle.
A memorial service will be held in North Carolina.
