Michelle M. Demko, "Shell", age 54 of Akron, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on January 7, 2022 at her home, after extended health issues for the past four years.
She was born on December 8, 1967 in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Sandra "Sandy" Sturm of Stow, Ohio and the late Barry "Mike" Sturm.
Shell loved to crochet and do all kinds of crafting and she loved her best friends, her cats.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Kenneth "Ken" Demko, whom she married on September 26, 2008; her brother, Eric (Kellie) Sturm; her nieces, Emma and Kaiya and her nephew, Kaleb.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305, where Michelle's life will be celebrated.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Rotary Club of Akron, proceeds to go to the Autism Camp in Michelle's memory.
