Mickey Caryl Vasil

In the early hours on Saturday, July 8, 2023, Mickey C. Vasil went to sleep and awoke in the arms of his Heavenly Father. He leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Nancy R. Vasil; children, David (Evelyn) Vasil, John Vasil, Cristina (Darrell) Dibert and Angela (Steve) Hays; and a host of grandchildren. Though deeply saddened by his earthly departure, his family and friends are rejoicing, knowing that our dearly beloved is worshipping at the feet of Jesus and singing in the Heavenly choir.

Mick loved so many things but nothing compared to his love for the Lord and Nancy. He also enjoyed history, nature, listening to gospel music and traveling. Mick spent many years studying and teaching God's Word, especially plowing through the Old Testament. Only now does he see all the faces of the lives he touched.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.

How best to honor Mick's life will be determined at a later date.
