Mike J. Jones, 57, passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2019. His family was his life and he loved spoiling his grandkids. He was a fanatical sports fan, especially the Browns. Mike enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Al Jones, and is survived by his daughters, Crystal (Joe) and Carly (Sam); grandchildren, Christian and Chloe; mother, Grace Jones; brothers, Ed (Nora) and John (Joyce); handpicked daughter, Carol Ann; mother-in-law, Carol Dolan; many other family members and close friends.
Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Wednesday, February 20 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service at 1pm. Interment at Manchester Cemetery, New Franklin, OH to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the family for funeral expenses.
