Mike Weakland

Mike Weakland, age 63, resident of Akron, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at his home with his buddies, Jeff, Bob and Johnny. He was born on September 18, 1949 in Cleveland to the late Walter Weakland and Mariam (Edward) Conti. Mike's happiest moments were with his friends, family and special cousins, Danny and Marybeth. He worked for Hershey's Rubbish as a sanitation worker for many years. Mike never wanted for anything and was always willing to give "the shirt off his back."

Preceded in death by his parents and sister, DeNae Sargent. Survived by siblings, Charles (Bonnie), Rita Mae, Dorothy, Charlotte (Keith), Patrick (Kim), Nick (Mary), Noreen and John (Andrea); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike was especially thankful to be reunited with Regina and Michael. Every one of Mike's friends and family will always remember his legacy through each special story that he told. A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
