Mildred M. Edwards
Mildred M. Edwards, 86, of Uniontown, passed away December 11, 2004 at Akron General Medical Center. She was born March 18, 1918 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Robert & Dorothy P. (Davidson) Barnes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Edwards; brother, Robert Barnes; and son-in-law, Frank Fultz, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Opal (Eric) Cetina of Texas, Dottie Fultz (fiance, Carl Hunnell) of Uniontown; sons, James Lonnie (Judy) Edwards of Barberton, Gene (Jance) Weiss of St. Louis; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Virginia (Alex) Kovach of Illinois. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the service begins. Interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Meals on Wheels.
