Mildred Hill (nee Thompson), 88, of Akron, passed away February 23, 2013. She was born in Wellston, OH on June 10, 1924 to the late Charles and Zelpha Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Thompson and sister, Karen Connors. Mildred is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Buck; son, Steven (Nancy) Hill; grandchildren, Emily and Mark; great-grandchildren, Persephone, Ilithyia and Gabriel; sister, Laura Napper.
A Memorial Service will be on Thursday, February 28, 7:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Pastor Lee Thomas officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to your choice of charity.
