Mildred Jean Reschke
June 2, 1927 — December 25, 2021
Mildred Jean Reschke, age 94 of Akron entered her Heavenly home on Christmas evening, 2021. She was born in Akron on June 2, 1927, the daughter of the late Joseph and Dora {Hardman} Wyatt.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her brother Glenn Wyatt.
Jean will be dearly missed by her children Sandy (Marty) Wood, Bob (Sherri) Reschke and Tim Reschke; grandchildren Marcie (Jesse), Marla (Steve), Brent (Mandi), Melissa, Kelly, Todd (Mika), Tracy (Brian) and Tyler; great-grandchildren Rileigh, Brody, Martin, Andrew, Gracie, Christian and Amari.
Jean was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and loved to spend time with her family. She loved nature, tending to her garden, going camping and crocheting.
Per Jean's wishes, a private service will be held for her family, officiated by Pastor Anders Davidson, and she will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron. Memorial donations in Jean's name may be made to Refuge of Hope, 715 2nd St NE, Canton, OH 44704, or Holy Cross Lutheran Church (Haiti Children), 7707 Market Ave N, Canton, OH 44721.
