Mildred K. Summers

Mildred K. Summers, 84, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the age of 84. She was born in Elkview, West Virginia, but lived most of her life in Springfield Township. Alzheimer's had her residing at Arbors At Stow. Millie's passions were gardening, flowers and always being a care taker of her family, friends, and neighbors.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Arnold; parents.

Millie leaves behind her children; Arnold (Marsha) of Fresno, OH, Charles of Alabama, David (Wanda) of Princeton, W V, Sandra (John) England of Akron, Donald of Akron Edward (Tori) of Akron, Kathryn (John) Chambliss of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters , Carol Anderson of TN, Wanda Rexroad of Akron; brothers, Conward and Woodrow Humphreys of W V; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Millie lived, laughed, loved and gained respect from all who knew her. We will miss you and continue to love you dearly.

Family will receive friends on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home,131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior to service at Newcomer Funeral Home. Internment will take place at East Liberty Cemetery.
