Milford "Hoyt" Rich
Milford "Hoyt" Rich, 62, of Akron, passed away May 26, 2006 at Akron City Hospital. He was born October 21, 1943 in Tennessee to the late Hardin and Italy Rich and later served in the U.S. Army. Hoyt enjoyed sports, horse racing, fishing and NASCAR but his life revolved around his family the most. He truly loved his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughters, Penny (John) Cundiff and April (Brian) Kern; grandchildren, Arielle, Michael, Taylor and Leah; sister, Joyce; brothers, Wesley, Truman and Milton; ex-wife, Josephine Rich. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Karen Hayburn officiating.
