Milton John Burkett, 46, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2009. Milton was born in Akron on March 4, 1963. He was a former employee of B & C Machines and a member of the F. & A.M. Wayfarer Lodge #789. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, boating, and hunting. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Rosalia; and infant daughter, Michelle. He is survived by his sisters, Elaine (Don) Tabellion, Nancy Sax, and Sandra (Denny) Wadsworth of Canton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many close friends, especially Bud and Julie Maust. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Visitation will be from 11-1, with a Masonic service at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
