Mina M. Goodson

Mina M. Goodson, 84, passed away February 4, 2023 after an extended illness. Born in Mogadore, Ohio to Jasper and Maude (Cain) Goodson, she resided in both Mogadore as well Sacramento, CA during her life. Mina graduated from Suffield High School in 1957 and later California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. She worked as an Office Analyst for the State of California. Mina was a great hostess who enjoyed cooking, wine tasting, her pet cat named Midnight, traveling, hiking, snow skiing, kayaking and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Helen Osburn, Bernard Goodson, Donald Goodson, Jack Goodson, Laverne Winstead, Eva Roth. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Shirley (Carl) Adorni; former husband, Pete; step-sons, Lanse and Darrell Minker; best friend, Sharon; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staffs of First Choice Home Care, Kent Ridge Memory Care and Traditions Hospice for their loving care of Mina.

Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. at My Community Life Church, 106 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Mina's name to the Alzheimer's Association or their favorite pet rescue organization.
