Mitchell L. Hughes, 81, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009. He was born May 16, 1928 in Murl, Kentucky, to Logan W. and Tella E. Hughes. He was an Army Veteran, a sports fan, and was retired from Chrysler Twinsburg Stamping Plant. Though he was a man of means, he led a very humble and simple life. He was very generous to his family and those he called friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen M. Ring; brothers, Edwin Hughes and Eli B. Hughes; and fiancée Mildred "Midge" Crist. He is survived by sister, Dorothy V. Hall; sister-in-law Elva M. Hughes; 12 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Elk Spring Cemetery in Monticello, Kentucky.
