Monroe Avent

Monroe Avent went to be in the presence of the God October 10, 2022, at the age of 71. Monroe also known to family and close friends as Lil Bruh, was born April 17, 1951, to his loving parents N.C. and Nellie Roberta Avent in Akron Ohio where he resided until his sunset. Monroe attended Tallmadge workshop for 20 years until they closed where he then began to attend Equal Care. Monroe was a long-time resident at Evant, which changed its name to Empowering People in 2017. Amongst the care of Kim Pride for over 25 years.
Monroe is predeceased by his parents N.C. Avent and Nellie Roberta Avent; sister Mary (Polly) Snell-Gatlin all of Akron Ohio
He leaves to cherish his memory brothers; James Robert (Maxine) Avent, Charles Edward (Ruth) Avent, Richard Lemont "Buster" (Detra) Avent; Sisters, Lynda Caldwell-Woods (David), Geraldine Avent all of Akron Ohio; Special cousin Ann Roberson (Baby Doll) who cared for him for many years and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Monroe was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness wherever he went and will be truly miss by family, friends and all that knew him.
