Myrtle G. Jarvis

Myrtle G. Jarvis, 81, passed away May 11, 2008. She was born October 1, 1926 in Milo, West Virginia to the late Neal and Darie (Keith) DeWeese. Myrtle was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Greensburg Temple Baptist Church. She retired from Goodyear after 35 years of service. Myrtle enjoyed the outdoors with her flowers. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert C. Jarvis; brothers, Coy, Gail, and Hunter; sisters, Zelma, Oma, and Ona. She is survived by sons, Dan and Michael (Sandy) Jarvis; grandchildren, Stacy, Tricia, Alysia (Brad), and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Paige, Payton, Ryan, and Alexzandria; and brother Garland DeWeese. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 13 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Wednesday, May 14 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME 131 N. Canton Rd,. Akron, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 14 at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Glenn Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
