Nancy Aleva

Nancy Aleva went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on June 24, 2011. Nancy was born April 22, 1952 in Martins Ferry, OH, the beloved daughter of the late Leslie and Margaret Aleva. Nancy moved to Akron with her family in 1959. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Survivors include her sister, Marjorie; her brother, Les; her aunt and uncle, Helen and Mike Laratonda; and several cousins. Nancy was beloved by her entire family and loved by everyone who knew her. She was a very sweet and loving person and will be missed by all who knew her. To her brother and sister, Nancy was the most precious and wonderful sister. Nancy had worked at Weaver Industries, and currently participated in both the Sociabilities program and Active Endeavors program at United Disabilities Services. Nancy's brother and sister wish to thank her physician Dr. Kendrick Bashor for his loving and compassionate care of Nancy. Nancy's family would also like to give special thanks to her caregivers at Evant Inc., United Disabilities Services, and the County of Summit Board of Developmental Disabilities. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
