Nancy Jeanne Bille

Nancy Jeanne Bille, 83, of Canton, passed away at her home on November 19, 2023. She was born on October 31, 1940 to the late Paul and Mildred {Roth} Smith.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Clayton, sisters Patricia McMahon and Sue Hoce.

Nancy is survived by her loving children Janet (Mike) Mathews, Karen (Russell) Potwora and Paul Bille; grandchildren Jenna and Andrew Potwora.

Nancy was a devoted mother, and raised her kids on her own, after Clayton passed in 1973. She loved animals and played cards with her friends from her widow and widower's group. Nancy enjoyed cooking, and her desserts were especially well-received, especially her apple pie and Texas sheet cake! More than anything, Nancy loved to spend time with her family, and she was exceptionally proud of her grandkids.

Per Nancy's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 4940 Tuscarawas St W, Canton, OH 44708 at 11:30am on Feb. 22nd followed by a celebration of life at Falcone's Tavern 5029 Tuscarawas St W, Canton, OH 44708.
