Nancy Bradbary of Akron passed away Thursday, June 3, following a sudden illness. She was born March 6, 1941 in Spencer, WV, the daughter of Oley and Dorothy Mace Blosser. Mrs. Bradbary was the school secretary of Sam Salem Elementary where she had worked for many years. In addition, she was an active member of the Springfield Baptist Church where she previously worked as the office secretary. Her first job in Akron was at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. She enjoyed being with family, shopping, golfing and walking. Her parents; sister, Etta Blosser; and husband, James V. Bradbary preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Sheree (Chuck) Nuske of Uniontown; 3 sisters, Betty Gregg and Shirley Fisher of Spencer, WV and Linda Wolfe of Apple Creek, OH; and many nieces and nephews. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 - 6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Baldridge officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Donations may be made in her honor to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or the Summit County Humane Society.
