Nancy C Liston

Nancy C Liston, 78, of Akron, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015. Nancy was born in Charleston, West Virginia on June 18, 1936 to the late John and Iris Brooks. Nancy retired from Bailey Meter. She enjoyed watching collage football, West Virginia and Notre Dame. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert; brother, George Brooks and sister-in-law, Pat Brooks. She is survived by niece, Karen (Dana) Willey; cousin, Patty Shuman; step-daughters, Rebecca Laughlin, Robin (Tom) McDuffee, Shelly Liston and Nancy (Al) Wolfe; step-sons, Dennis Liston, Robert (Jean) Liston, Brett (Heidi) Liston and Blair Liston and numerous step-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to the staff at Pebble Creek and the many friends that she has made there. Family and friends may call on, Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 2:00pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 1075 Rawiga Rd Rittman, Ohio 44273.
