Nancy Carol Pledger

Nancy Carol Pledger, 59, went to heaven to be with her loving parents, George & Goldie Pledger on April 21, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mabel Hausch; niece, Jill Golech; and great-nephew, Jesse M. Golech. She is survived by her great-niece, Jenna R. Golech; special friend, Angie Williams and many friends across the country. A funeral service will be conducted Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Brenda Young officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until the service begins. Final viewing will take place at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. followed by a procession to Greenlawn Memorial Park for interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Free Methodist Church, 578 Killian Rd., Akron OH 44319 or Akron General Medical Center.
