Nancy F. McLaughlin, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. She was born on February 1, 1933 to Lester and Nellie Hohenadel. Nancy loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking, decorating and writing inspirational poetry. Holidays were a special time for Nancy because she was a giver with a generous heart. Spirituality played a huge role in Nancy's life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles McLaughlin; parents; Lester and Nellie Hohenadel; siblings, Bill , Tom and John Hohenadel.
Nancy is survived by children, Linda and Norman Gerstenslager, Dawn and Karl Jobst; siblings, Joyce, Paul, Esther; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, nieces ,nephews and a host of friends who will miss Nancy dearly.
Linda and Dawn would like to say Thank You to Aunt Dixie for all of your love, time and dedication that you have shown to our mom.
The family would like to say Thank You to Paula and the entire staff of VNS Hospice and Briarwood Nursing Home Staff for the support and special care they have given.
A Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016 , at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park 2580 Romig Rd. Akron OH, 44320.
