Nancy H. Camp

Nancy H. Camp, 70, of Tallmadge, passed away December 27, 2007 at her residence. She was born June 10, 1937 in Burke, Kentucky to the late Jesse A. & Lura Emily (Boggs) Henson. Nancy was an active volunteer with the Akron Art Museum and St. Thomas Hospital. She was very active in her community as well. Nancy was a member of Northeast Neighbors, Northeast Garden Club and Seekers Investment Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Dean Camp on December 9, 2007; son, David Franklin Camp; and sister, Pauline Short. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Carolyn Camp-Smith (Todd); son, William A. Camp (Colleen); grandchildren, Nikkolas, Taylor, Cheyanne, Dakota, Caitlyn, Olivia and Ethan; sister, Jean Varney (Jim); brothers, Tom (Francis), John (Christine) and Lonnie Henson. Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m., Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron with Pastor Jon Stoltzfus officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m., Saturday until the service begins. Interment will take place 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Cedar Cemetery in Jackson, Ohio.
