Nancy Hagan, 63, of Massillon, OH, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 11, 2021 after a long and hard fought battle with cancer.
Nancy was born on May 6, 1958 to Diana and Alvin Ludovici in Sewickly PA. After graduating from Ambridge High School, she went on to study Accounting at Robert Morris College. Her first career was with Westinghouse Electric in Greentree, PA. She eventually relocated to Canton, Ohio, where she met her husband, Patrick. They wed in 1989 and went on to have two beautiful daughters, Melissa and Chelsea.
If you would have asked Nancy what her biggest accomplishment in life was she would have said being a mother and raising her daughters. Nancy lived a life full of travel, some of her greatest memories being trips to Orlando and Disney World with her family and Brother/Sister-in-law, Ricky & Linda. Nancy was loved by everyone she met. Her family would describe her as being the most selfless person they knew.
Nancy is predeceased by her father, Alvin, and her brother, Joe. She is survived by her husband, Patrick, daughters, Melissa Schoenewald (Jamie) and Chelsea Schmitz (Matt), grandson, JJ Schoenewald, mother, Diana Ludovici, brother, Ricky Ludovici (Linda), sisters, Lori Kirk (Rich) and Amy Beeghley (Scott), nephew, Joe Ludovici and niece, Hannah Beeghley.
A viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. and funeral at St. Michael Catholic Church in Canton on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. The family requests that everyone wear masks during calling hours and the service.
