Nancy Jean Carlyn

Nancy Jean Carlyn, 68, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2013 and is soaring with the angels in Heaven. She was born in Crestline, OH on July 8, 1944 to the late James and Margaret Middleton.
Nancy was a member of the Lakemore United Methodist Church and very active in the Summit County Democratic Party. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E.; step-son, Donald E. II; grandsons, Anthony Green and Donald E. III.
Nancy is survived by children, Patrick (Tammy) Carlyn and Kelly Green; grandchildren, Darren Green, Tarrah Sturdivant, James Green II, Kaitlyn and Erika Carlyn, David and Thomas Carlyn and Carlyn Green; great-grandchildren, Samarha Sturdivant and Rylee Green.
Family and friends may call on Friday, May 31, from 5-7 p.m. at Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Rd, Akron, OH 44312 where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating.
