Nancy Ellen Jenkins

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Nancy (Rymer) Jenkins on July 5, 2022 after a short illness at the age of 62. She was born Nancy Rymer on July 23, 1959 in Akron, Ohio as the second of four children to the late David and Beverly Rymer.
Nancy spent her whole and fulfilling life in the Akron area, attending Northwest High School in Canal Fulton. She spent many years doing tax preparation at Jackson Hewitt.
Nancy enjoyed many things including playing Bingo, spending quality time with her grandkids, and going out to eat with her sister on Sundays. She had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her son, David; parents, David and Beverly; brother, Jeff; and her husband of 18 years, Bernie Jenkins.
She is survived by her sister, Robin; brother, Jerry (Tammy); many stepchildren, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. followed by a 12:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery.
