Nancy Smith, age 81 of Stow, Ohio, died on December 17, 2020 at Briarwood in Stow.
She was born on February 26, 1939 in Bangor, Maine, the daughter of the late Reginald M. and Elizabeth (nee Wells) Alexander.
Nancy was a homemaker who took great pride in being a mom. She was a most proud of her role as a grandmother to her three granddaughters. She was a member of The Vine Fellowship Church in Copley, where she had served in a variety of ministries. Nancy also enjoyed reading and watching old movies.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret "Peggy" (Michael) McGill; her three granddaughters, Kimberly, Emily and Natalie Tran.
Per Nancy's wishes, cremation will take place and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
