Naomi L. McDowell
Naomi L. McDowell, 79, passed away December 23, 2008. Naomi was born December 17, 1929 in Robinson, Pennsylvania. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her children and grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew her. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edith McDowell and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, John C. McDowell and Glenn (Laura) McDowell; sisters, Lesta Lichtenfels and Ada Barbus; grandchildren, John V. (Amy), Jeffrey A., Charissa M., and Veronica L. McDowell; and great grandchildren, Caleb, Alexi, and Ethan. The family would like to extend special thanks to all the caregivers from Hospice of Summa for their loving attention to Naomi. Visitation will be Friday from 5 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral services and burial will take place in New Florence, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Summa in Naomi's honor.
