Naomi Nell Mcleod

Naomi Nell McLeod, age 90, resident of Akron, passed away at her home on January 9, 2013. She was born in Huntingdon, TN on April 24, 1922 to Clarence and Nina Perritt. Naomi worked as a waitress for many years at several area establishments including "The Pub" in Hudson and Iacomini's. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, playing slot machines, spending time with her family and her famous response, "…yeah, right."

Preceded in death by her parents and siblings and granddaughter, Seann Taylor. Survived by her daughter, Brenda Sparrow of Akron, OH; son, Charles "Doug" (Teri) McLeod of Crestview, FL; sister, Lola Warbritton of Huntingdon, TN; grandchildren, Julie, Jeff, Jon (Suzan), Renee (Duck) and Joe (Jessica); 9 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 18, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Friends may call from 5:00 to 6:00 PM prior to the service.
